Dr Phil Rogers

He has a background on the UK's gas reactors and 18 years experience in the UK and international nuclear market in various technical and business roles in consultancy and government advisory organisations.

Phil has made a significant contribution to the recognition of nuclear derived hydrogen as a potentially important decarbonisation option in the UK and alongside colleagues is driving forward the Laboratory's Clean Energy Applications of Nuclear Energy Programme.

This will extend the technical and economic evidence base for nuclear to support achieving Net Zero by 2050 through hydrogen, synthetic fuels flexible electricity and industrial applications of heat.
